About

I’m a geek/nerd engineer from birth!  Since I was 5-6 years old, I’ve been tearing things apart to see how they work, and them putting back together.  I discovered radio & electronics in my teens, got my ham radio license at 15, and then an electrical engineering degree from Texas A&M University.  I’ve worked for NASA at the Johnson Space Center for over 30 years in Systems Engineering and Project Management positions developing ground and flight systems for the Mission Control Center and International Space Station.

My current interests are designing and building electronics & radio projects, designing beer recipes and brewing beer, VHF/UHF/microwave radio design & operation, and contesting.
